Shower floors and pans are our specialty — sloped, sealed and set so water goes exactly where it should. Serving Ocala, Belleview and across Central Florida.

The floor of a shower is the hardest part of the job and the part most likely to cause trouble later. We build the base so water runs to the drain from every direction, waterproof it, and set the tile so the pattern stays true right up to the drain flange.
A shower pan starts with the drain. The mortar bed is packed so it falls toward the drain from every side, a steady slope with no dip in the middle. A waterproofing layer goes over it, turned up the walls and sealed at the corners and around the drain. Where the job calls for it, the pan is flood-tested before any tile goes on top. Then the tile is laid out, set, grouted and sealed. Curbless entries follow the same rules, with the slope worked into the floor so water still heads for the drain.
Small tile is the usual choice for the floor because it follows the slope easily. Mosaic, hex, penny round and pebble all do that. Larger tile can work, but it normally needs a linear drain or extra cuts so it still lies flat on the slope. Natural stone and pebble look great and both need sealing.
Most pan trouble comes from water that doesn’t leave. Puddles usually mean the slope was off, and the fix is rebuilding the base, not regrouting. A musty smell, soft spots or stains outside the shower are signs the pan needs a look. A pan that’s leaking generally has to come out and be rebuilt. Grout that cracks along the walls or around the drain is worth a quick look too, since that’s where water tends to find a way in.
None of this is an upgrade or a line item. It’s just how the work gets done.
We come out, measure and give you a clear price with the scope spelled out before you commit to anything.
Substrate checked, levelled and made sound. We won’t set tile over something that’s going to move.
Wet areas get a waterproof base with sealed corners and penetrations — every time.
Floors protected, debris bagged, and the area swept down before we leave each day.
Tear-out and offcuts go with us. You’re not left with a pile in the driveway.
We go over the finished work with you and put right anything you’re not happy with.

It depends on the size, the tile and what’s behind the walls once we open them up — a small mosaic pan is a very different job to a floor-to-ceiling walk-in. That’s exactly why the estimate is free and done in person: you get a real number for your bathroom, not a guess off a price list.
A backsplash is usually a day. A tub surround is typically a few days. A full bathroom with a custom shower generally runs one to two weeks depending on size, tear-out and how long materials take to cure. We’ll give you a realistic window before we start.
Either way works. Plenty of customers pick their own tile and we install it; others would rather we point them at suppliers and help them choose something that fits the layout and the budget. Just tell us which you’d prefer.
Showers get a proper waterproof base before any tile goes on — membrane or liner depending on the build, with corners and penetrations sealed and banded. It’s the least visible part of the job and the one that decides whether it lasts.
