Porcelain, ceramic and wood-look plank set flat over a prepared, level subfloor. Serving Ocala, Belleview and across Central Florida.

Tile that stays flat and stays put comes down to what’s underneath it. We check and prep the subfloor first — level it, add underlayment where needed — then set the tile with the right mortar and a leveling system.
Floor tile stays flat only if what’s under it is flat, so the subfloor gets checked first, then levelled and given underlayment where it needs it. The layout is dry-laid to find a good starting line and to avoid thin cuts at walls and doorways. Tile is set in mortar that suits its size, with leveling clips on larger pieces, and grouted once the mortar has firmed up. Rooms that run into each other, like an entry and a hallway, are planned so the lines carry through instead of stopping at the doorway. Transitions and thresholds finish the edges.
Porcelain is the usual pick for floors because it’s hard and handles traffic and moisture. Ceramic works well in lighter-use rooms. Wood-look plank gives you the look of hardwood with the water resistance of tile. Large and long tile needs a flat floor and the right mortar, because a thin coat won’t fill the gaps underneath.
Cracked tile is most often a subfloor issue: movement, a crack in the slab, or a spot with no support. Tile that sounds hollow has lost its bond. Lippage, where one edge sits higher than its neighbour, comes from uneven setting, which leveling clips help prevent. Grout lines that open up usually trace back to prep or movement, so fixing the cause matters more than patching the symptom.
None of this is an upgrade or a line item. It’s just how the work gets done.
We come out, measure and give you a clear price with the scope spelled out before you commit to anything.
Substrate checked, levelled and made sound. We won’t set tile over something that’s going to move.
Floors protected, debris bagged, and the area swept down before we leave each day.
Tear-out and offcuts go with us. You’re not left with a pile in the driveway.
We go over the finished work with you and put right anything you’re not happy with.

Either way works. Plenty of customers pick their own tile and we install it; others would rather we point them at suppliers and help them choose something that fits the layout and the budget. Just tell us which you’d prefer.
Tile is the specialty and it’s most of what we do — showers especially. We also install hardwood, laminate and rigid-core composite plank, and the approach doesn’t change: the subfloor gets levelled and prepped properly before anything goes down.
A backsplash is usually a day. A tub surround is typically a few days. A full bathroom with a custom shower generally runs one to two weeks depending on size, tear-out and how long materials take to cure. We’ll give you a realistic window before we start.
