Kitchen and bar backsplashes in subway, herringbone, picket or mosaic — usually done in a day. Serving Ocala, Belleview and across Central Florida.

Usually the quickest job we do and one of the biggest visual changes in a kitchen. Most standard backsplashes are a one-day install, cleaned up and ready to look at the same evening.
A backsplash goes up fast, but the prep still counts. The old backsplash comes off if there is one, and the wall is made flat and clean. The layout is planned around the outlets, switches, windows and the line of the counter. Tile is set from a level starting line, cut around the openings, grouted and wiped down, with caulk where the tile meets the countertop. It’s a small area, so any mistake is easy to see, and the first few rows get the most attention.
Ceramic, porcelain, glass and natural stone all work on a kitchen wall. Subway is the classic, laid straight, offset or in herringbone. Picket and mosaic bring more pattern. Glass and light-coloured tile show uneven setting more than most, so they need a flat wall and a careful hand. Natural stone needs sealing, especially behind a stove where grease lands.
A pattern looks wrong when the layout is off, like a thin sliver of tile at one end or lines that drift away from the counter. Planning the layout first avoids both. Outlet and switch covers have to sit flush with the new surface, so those cut-ins are measured carefully. The gap at the countertop gets caulk rather than grout, so it can flex without cracking. Heat and splashes behind a range are hard on grout, so a good seal is worth the extra step.
None of this is an upgrade or a line item. It’s just how the work gets done.
We come out, measure and give you a clear price with the scope spelled out before you commit to anything.
Substrate checked, levelled and made sound. We won’t set tile over something that’s going to move.
Floors protected, debris bagged, and the area swept down before we leave each day.
Tear-out and offcuts go with us. You’re not left with a pile in the driveway.
We go over the finished work with you and put right anything you’re not happy with.

A backsplash is usually a day. A tub surround is typically a few days. A full bathroom with a custom shower generally runs one to two weeks depending on size, tear-out and how long materials take to cure. We’ll give you a realistic window before we start.
Either way works. Plenty of customers pick their own tile and we install it; others would rather we point them at suppliers and help them choose something that fits the layout and the budget. Just tell us which you’d prefer.
Yes. A cracked tile, a loose spot or a leaking corner is worth a call. If a repair isn’t the right answer we’ll say so rather than take the work.
